The Challenge:
The client’s plan was to increase its online presence to compete strategically with other well-known home improvement e-commerce companies. They acquired a start-up company that added 3.5 million stock-keeping units (SKUs) from over 3,300 manufacturers to their portfolio. Post-acquisition, the client identified that the acquired company required an updated technology platform and enhanced user and mobile experiences on their websites. Lacking the subject matter experts in-house to update the platform, the client needed to outsource the onboarding of the required resources.
The Solution:
Eliassen Group was entrusted with the deployment of subject matter experts to assist in the requirements gathering, development, and testing of key deliverables. Our consultants met with the technical and business management teams to understand core objectives and ultimately execute the proper deliverables. They worked on the front-end redesign and rebranded all platforms. The checkout feature on all websites was successfully redesigned and featured highly increased responsiveness.
The Result:
We deployed 15 subject matter experts. Our consultants de-livered enhanced and secure websites. This contributed to a 40% increase in sales.
